Abilitec Seminar

So you think you know what's in your network?

Abilitec Seminar, Thursday 9th February, Cabinet War Rooms, Westminster, Central London

The seminar will focus on introducing emerging technologies that give a remarkable picture of applications; infrastructure and configuration which we think will be of interest to anybody in IT but in particular to those looking at business continuity and compliance with ITIL, SOX etc. There will also be an update on the IBM aquisition of Micromuse.

Topics to be covered

What applications are running across the network and who uses them, what is the cost (can you charge back), what is the real user experience, are you meeting their SLA?

What's the actual configuration of your servers, are they at the correct revision/patch level, when was the last planned change, did it work? Is it all licensed? Do you have spare licenses that are costing money?

Is your network working as you think it is configured, you might have made the connections but are they being used? Do you have true redundancy or just think you do? Can you play back what happened the last time there was a failure?
